Tomatoro and the Mobile App
A lot of people ask whether Tomatoro has an official app on the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). The short answer is no — and the good news is that you don't need one.
Officially, there's no native app
Today Tomatoro has no native app to download from the stores. There's nothing to wait for and nothing to grab from the App Store or Google Play.
Instead, Tomatoro is built as a PWA (Progressive Web App): the web version installs and runs on your phone exactly like a native app. It's ready to go — no stores, no heavy updates, no waiting.
Why the web beats a store app
- Always up to date. Every time you open it you get the latest version — no patches to download.
- Full screen. Once installed it opens in its own window, with no browser chrome.
- Works offline. The timer keeps running even without a connection (you only need one to sign in or sync).
- Your account and reports, just like on desktop.
This technique works better with the right tool. Tomatoro handles the timing so you can stay locked in. Free to use, always.
